Le Bistro du 17e – A great-value-for-money French bistro

Food

If you want to have a full-course dinner in a very nice place, not far away from the Arc de Triomphe, don’t hesitate anymore and go to this classical French bistro. With their all-included menu at 42 Eur (aperitive, starters, main plate, dessert and wine), it is the best tip of the whole district!

The menu provides a large choice of dishes, and the service is very nice. As it is quite known, don’t forget to book a table, especially during the week-end!

We had the choice between 5-6 starters, 8-9 main dishes and 4-5 desserts, the waiters helped us a lot by explaining everything, and that was great. Moreover, they offered us the aperitive when we arrived, a sweet attention to help us wait for the dishes! Last, but not least, the bottle of wine included in this menu was a good choice according to our meals. The chef personally knows the wine growers; so definitely, this menu is a great value for money!

We especially loved the main dish, because the meat was excellent and the fish very-well prepared. We also tried the French fries and were surprised because they were very crispy and we tasted the French terroir!

Top tip: the terrace, definitely! And the service, nice but not too embarrassing. Actually, the whole bistro is a good tip!
